This is a project for a suburban residential area.
This is a house for a couple of close friends, the husband is an engineer, the wife is a mood maker at meetings, and the two of them have been planning it together since we had many meetings with the client couple, and we were able to share the same values.
The client had three main requests.
1. You can live an open life without worrying too much about people looking in from outside.
② Make the room feel spacious.
3) Appearance must be normal.
Looking back at the request from the meeting, I think there were many detailed details, but in the end it was a very simple design. By creating an enclosed garden and expanding the floor, and concentrating the functional parts of the interior at the center, we designed the layout so that the outermost wall of the house could be seen. We also created a mechanism so that the wall in the kitchen leads the eye to the outdoors.
The entrance to the children's room on the second floor started with a simple comment from the wife, and in the end, that idea was adopted. The three openings are used as benches, windows, entrances, and sometimes as a shop counter between the sisters. In the end, there may be two doors that can be opened and closed, and the round opening may have a stuffed animal stuffed from the bottom up.
Using prefabricated materials, we aimed to create the simplest form possible for a prefabricated house, but the interior space is actually full of essence, and we worked hard to create a house that allows people to enjoy this contrast.
